Sellwood Area House Renovation for Dave Turra

This beautiful craftsman style home in the Sellwood area of Portland, Oregon really shows what vision, planning and the right contractors can bring to property. Our client, Dave Turra had hired us for many projects but this was one of our favorite. You cannot see from the photos but there was a small playground and a creek across the street. It was truly a magical location and when Dave completed the renovation, the home sold immediately. Dave is a licensed realtor and we would love to give a shout out to him. Oregon Coast - Green Bathroom

This house along the Oregon coast sits just blocks from the beach but this 24x24 Verdigris tile makes you feel as though you are wading in the waves. A 12"x24" niche was installed for easy and attractive storage. A sleek linear drain adds to the minimalist design.

NE 52nd Ave. Portland - Kitchen Remodel

Watching the transformation of this kitchen has been such a delight! As in most older homes, this house needed a great deal of prep work before the cabinets, floors and counters could be installed. Before the demolition of the kitchen, we removed the bricks of a chimney chute that ran down behind the inner wall of the kitchen. This allowed for the wall to be recessed; providing for more room for the range, refrigerator and surrounding cabinets. All plumbing and electricals needed to be modernized and insulation needed to be installed in the outer walls. All existing trims were repaired, sanded and painted so that they would match the aesthetics of the rest of the home. In addition to the range hood, a ceiling fan was installed to allow for increased air flow. The client also had 2 additional ceiling lights installed, a garbage disposal installed and a feature that we love... a stacking washer and dryer.

SW Fairmount Blvd, Portland, Oregon - Masterbath

This home sits atop of the hills in the PNW where the mornings can get quite chilly, damp and grey. This bathroom provides the homeowners with a wonderful space to prepare for the day ahead. It is bright and airy, with the sage green shower walls providing a touch of color reminiscent of  the surrounding forests outside. The heated floors give this space that extra touch of comfort that make leaving home difficult.

Our client thoughtfully planned every room in this home to carry a beach theme and this room is no exception. From the ceramic tile to the blue glass to the wavy white tile, one can almost feel the gentle movement of the sea and the ocean breezes.

Canby, Oregon - Masterbath

This master bath is a one of a kind. It is luxurious and spacious with views of the surrounding rolling hills and farmlands. To make it a truly unique experience, it also has heated floors throughout the main room.

Gresham, Oregon - Second Floor Deck

Clients' original second story deck was dry rotted and needed replacement. She contacted us, not only to replace it but to enlarge it and add a staircase to the yard for her dog. She originally wanted it constructed of wood but at the time, there was a special on Trex decking so our client  was very pleased with her upgrade.

The tiles used in this combination laundry room/dog wash station is reminiscent of a French farmhouse.

Our clients' thoughtfully designed this shower for their father to have in his spectacular 4 piece in-law suite bathroom. The natural look of the tile has a contemporary yet warm feel.

Installation of waterproof laminate flooring throughout the home. Price does not include materials.

SE. Portland - Complete Apartment Renovation

This apartment had been gutted by a fire and needed to be fully renovated. After the fire and smoke remediation we completely renovated this unit from the studs up.As this was an income property, the main goal was for a quick turnover at a reasonable cost.

Powell Butte, Portland, Oregon - Basement Bathroom Renovation

This small shower proves that basement bathrooms do not have to be dark and uninviting.

At least one part of this project in this stately home was purely for the fuzziest member of the family. Although I am sure he is enjoying all of it. First we laid luxury vinyl across 1175 feet of basement space and then created a moisture barrier and tiled the surround of this beautiful dog wash station
